How Heroes Are Made
1914 Directed by Charley ChaseIt has been arranged between the fathers that their children shall marry. When the young people meet, the intended husband, who is somewhat rakish in appearance, falls desperately in love with the girl, but she spurns him. He bribes two young men to kidnap the girl, in order that he may play the hero and rescue her. However, he does not know that one of the "kidnappers" is the young man whom Mabel really is in love with, and his confidential friend, who, of course, delight in the deception.
