1979 Directed by Samson SamsonovA small Belarusian town, where Olga, a vivacious and able to stand up for herself and her daughter, lived, was occupied by the Germans. It was she who was approached by the underground with a request to ransom a man from a prisoner-of-war camp. The young woman was shocked by what she saw in the camp - and not finding the man she was looking for, Olga ransomed the young man, calling him her husband. The soldier, as soon as he got stronger, began to rush into battle. And when he died, Olga joined the fight against the Nazis.
