

Yael, Shai And Half Menashe
1990 Directed by Amir ZaitFilmmaker Amir Zait directed this short during his time as a student at Tel Aviv University’s Department of Film and Television Studies, and for which he won a Wolgin Prize for Best Short at the Jerusalem Film Festival. In the film, two men cross paths in Yael’s flat one morning. The former, in his dressing gown, has just spent the night with Yael, whilst the latter is her ex-partner. The ex gives the new guy the third degree and, in the process, the pair get to know each other and learn how to define themselves in terms of their relationship with Yael.
